Which iPhones are supported?

For now Guided Car Capture is iPhone only: iPhone Pro and Pro Max models with a LiDAR scanner, from iPhone 12 Pro onwards. Other iPhones can open a sample car but can't run a guided scan. There is no Android version yet.

The scan keeps saying "Slow down"

The app limits walking speed so photos stay sharp, and the limit is lower in dim light. Walk a little slower, especially past the front and rear of the car, where the phone turns faster.

"Hold still, re-measuring"

The phone lost track of where it is, often because of low light, a plain wall or a reflective surface. Hold the phone still and point it at the car until the message goes away.

Not enough space around the car

Full-car photos need about 4 m clear on each side. In tighter spaces the app switches to the wide lens, which needs about 2.5 m.

My photos haven't uploaded

Photos are saved on your phone and upload in the background when you're online. Keep the app installed until the upload finishes; you can see its progress in the Garage.

Delete my data

In the app: Settings, then Delete my data. This removes your scans and photos from your phone and from our servers. See Privacy.
